Administrative Coordinator for the Family Education Outreach Program (FEOP)

ASSIGNMENT:  Family Education Outreach Program (FEOP)             

QUALIFICATIONS:               

  • NYS SDA/SDL Certification
  • Bilingual Spanish Speaker preferred
  • Experience in the administration, supervision, and coordination of social, educational, and community services in a public or private agency, grant writing, budget development, and project management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to Title I Part C, Education of Agricultural Migratory students, The McKinney-Vento Act and Title I Part A, Education of Homeless students, Limited English students, as well as special education and general education students.
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of programs and services which help raise student achievement for students with limited English proficiency, economically disadvantaged students, transitionally housed (homeless) students, unaccompanied youth, as well as general and special education students
  • Knowledge of scientifically-based research and programs in the area of literacy and study skills
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal skills, and experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Experience and competence in the use and interpretation of data
  • Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Leadership, direction, and general supervision of all aspects of the Family Education Outreach Program
