Location: Various Eastern Suffolk BOCES locations in Suffolk County
Care for the physical needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities including, but not limited to, students with autism, emotional disturbance, intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, or multiple disabilities.
Work under the direct supervision of a teacher or other professional supervisor.
Provide assistance to students in completing assigned projects.
Transport and accompany students to activities and physically participate as necessary.
May perform various recordkeeping tasks.
Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Ability to join the NYS pension system
