Marine/Motorsport Technology students brought their work home with them during the local lockdowns. Living rooms were converted into repair shops and garages as students worked on motorcycles to continue learning how to repair specialty engines. Marine/Motorsport Technology is a course offered through the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology, the Career and Technical Education Program of Eastern Suffolk BOCES.
Students either worked on family motorcycles or brought home projects that they worked on in the classroom. The projects enabled students to continue furthering their education about performance motors. The projects included repairs, routine maintenance, and system checks on the engines.
