NGSS/NYSSLS Aligned Science Kit Program: Available 2018-2019
A district must belong to the Center for Online Learning in order to access COL content. This subscription entitles districts full access to COL offerings.
Grade K-5 NGSS/NYSSLS Aligned Science Kit Program
The NGSS/NYSSLS aligned Science Kit program content is available 24/7 via Agilix Buzz LMS with the flexibility of supplemental or blended instruction. Each OHM BOCES Science kit developed includes the following components:
- Complete curricular scope and sequence
- Sequential daily lesson plans
- Comprehensive student workbook (workbooks available in Spanish)
- Digital content presentation
- All physical materials needed
- Video tutorials for classroom teacher
- Inquiry based exploration
- Engineering and design challenge
- Standards aligned written assessment (pre/post)
Continued development in K-5 will further support three dimensional learning.
