A district must belong to the Center for Online Learning  in order to access COL content. This subscription entitles districts full access to COL offerings as per the CoSer description in the Nassau BOCES Directory of Services.

Grade K-12 NYS Standards Aligned Social Studies Curriculum

The NYS Standards Aligned Social Studies content is available 24/7 via Agilix Buzz LMS with the flexibility of supplemental or blended instruction.  The OHM BOCES Social Studies Curriculum includes the following components:

• Grades K-2 Full Social Studies Framework Aligned 80 Day Lesson Sequence
• Grades 3-6 Assessment Project:  Stimulus-Based Multiple Choice/Short Response for every unit
• Grades 3-12 Student-Facing Instruction available in Buzz (1-4 units per grade level)                                                                          
• Grades 7-12 Stimulus-Based Short Response Questions and Enduring Issues Essay for the new Regents Exam
• Grade 10 Interactive Regents Review Course
• Grades K-12 Enhanced New York State Inquiries                           

Continued development in K-12 will further support three dimensional learning.
