During the week of December 16th through the 20th, WHBLC celebrated Winter Holidays Around the World, with the primary focus on Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.

Winter holidays, such as Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and others, are celebrated in unique ways across different regions, and exploring these celebrations helps students appreciate the values, customs, and histories that shape various communities. This knowledge promotes inclusivity and empathy, encouraging our students to recognize and celebrate differences while finding common ground in shared human experiences. Additionally, learning about global winter holidays can spark curiosity, creativity, and a deeper sense of connection to the world, preparing our students to be more open-minded and respectful global citizens.
