Contingency Management Planning and Testing Service
The Cybersecurity and Governance Program at the Suffolk RIC is offering a comprehensive service to assist local school districts in establishing robust Contingency Management / Emergency Preparedness Plans.
This initiative provides three distinct pathways for developing and testing Incident Response, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity Plans.
Depending on the selected tier, participating districts can collaborate in small groups to customize templates, receive individualized coaching, and participate in simulated drills to evaluate their readiness. These services are structured to ensure educational institutions can maintain or quickly restore operations during unexpected disruptions. This program aims to identify operational gaps and provide expertise to enhance the overall security posture of the region's schools.
Districts have the option to solely create new plans and run through a tabletop drill on one of them or just run a tabletop drill on a previously existing plan.
