About the Service
The Principal Evaluator Service provides school districts with a qualified APPR Principal Evaluator when the Superintendent also serves as the Principal. Our evaluators bring extensive leadership experience and adhere to New York State requirements.

Evaluator Qualifications
•    Certification as an administrator in New York State
•    Experience as a school superintendent or assistant superintendent
•    Lead evaluator training on §30-2.9 elements

During the School Year, the Evaluator Will:
•    Spend 2 to 5 days working in the district with the principal (as agreed upon before work begins)
•    Collect evidence using the district-selected evaluation rubric
•    Review the state-approved APPR plan as it relates to Principal Evaluation
•    Analyze student data to provide a comprehensive principal evaluation

Deliverables
A completed report will be provided to the district by June 30th of the current school year, or as mutually agreed upon.

Daily Cost:	$837 per day
Basic Service	Two full days in total, which includes two principal visits and evaluation.
Enhanced Service	Includes two principal visits, and evaluation, plus additional coaching/mentoring days as agreed upon by both the district and the evaluator.
