The NYS Education Department now requires that all persons applying for a teaching certificate or a license as a special education teacher, in addition to all the other certification or licensing requirements, complete a 3-hour course in the area of children with autism.  This workshop will fulfill the NYSED requirement for Classroom Teaching Certification in all areas of Special Education.  

To register, you will need a Frontline/MyLearningPlan account.  You may easily sign up for an account even if you are not associated with a Long Island school district. Please follow these web registration directions.

Note:  If you are not associated with a Long Island district - depending on where you live/work - you will need to select one of the following when you register at webreg:

• Private Suffolk
• Private Nassau
• Private NYC
