Eastern Suffolk BOCES offers high-quality professional learning designed to strengthen educator practice and improve student outcomes. Services include regional workshops, open to all districts, and customized in-district professional development aligned with district goals.

Select Calendar from the menu to view upcoming workshop flyers, or visit webreg.esboces.org to browse and register for regional offerings. Early registration is encouraged, as workshops are held based on enrollment.
Customized In-District Professional Development
School district administrators may request professional development tailored to a specific goal, audience or area of need.
Browse our Consultant Network pages by area of expertise, then email pdreferral@esboces.org to request a referral. Please include:
- Professional development topic or goal
- Intended audience
- Preferred timeframe
- Any relevant district priorities or initiatives
Our team will recommend a consultant for your consideration.
Once a district decides to move forward with a consultant, an authorized district representative must complete the online In-District Professional Development Request Form available on this webpage. Please select the form for the applicable school year, as forms for multiple years may be available.
Districts are required to log in to access the online planning form. Please call 631-244-4234 for login information.
Interested in Joining Our Consultant Network?
We welcome inquiries from experienced K–12 education professionals whose work supports certificated educators, including teachers, administrators, school counselors, social workers, psychologists and certified teaching assistants. All professional development should ultimately contribute to improved student outcomes.
To be considered, email newconsultants@esboces.org and include:
- Current résumé or curriculum vitae
- Website and LinkedIn profile, if applicable
- Company name and address, if applicable
- Three to four areas of expertise
- Proposed full-day consulting rate
- Third-person professional biography of approximately 150-200 words
- Proposal for a complimentary 60–90-minute virtual workshop
The workshop proposal should be concise but descriptive and include:
- Workshop title and brief description
- Intended K–12 audience
- Two to three participant learning outcomes
- Alignment with applicable New York State standards, the NYS Portrait of a Graduate, and/or NY Inspires
A member of our team will review the submitted materials and may contact qualified applicants to schedule a Zoom meeting to discuss potential consulting opportunities.
