LISEA
Long Island Stem and Entrepreneurship Academy (LISEA)
LISEA has designed professional development courses to demystify Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for teachers, enabling them to not only grasp its fundamental principles but also to creatively apply AI in their teaching practices. By participating, you'll not only enhance your own digital literacy but also become a catalyst for fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation among your students. Whether you're looking to incorporate AI into your curriculum, inspire students with cutting-edge technology, or simply expand your own horizons, this program offers the why and the how of AI in education. Join us to be at the forefront of shaping a future-ready generation.
LISEA hybrid courses and asynchronous courses are designed to complement professional development plans, and district strategic plans, as well as address current educational issues. We empower our community through modern tech programs for adults and students, fostering innovation and learning. Our diverse workshops cover the latest technological advancements, inspiring participants of all ages to thrive in today's evolving landscape.
Through a partnership with Model Schools, LISEA hybrid courses are being offered through Eastern Suffolk BOCES. Each in-person and online, synchronous course runs for one month and new courses are offered monthly.
