Participants must register on Frontline Education.

*Please check with your district prior to enrolling regarding the granting of in-service credit for L.I. PREP courses.

L.I. PREP Online Courses:

  • Course offerings are aligned with both the district’s professional development needs that utilize evidenced-based practices in the successful implementation of social and emotional learning (SEL) and mental health standards as part of a comprehensive approach within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) model and the needs of teacher’s to support their diverse students.
  • Teachers learn according to their schedule. Classrooms are accessible via the internet. Online, asynchronous courses provide participants with maximum family and work flexibility and allow for successful management in all these areas of life while achieving meaningful professional development.
  • Project/assignment deadlines are easier to meet with such convenience and will be assessed at the end of each 1-hour course session.
  • Access to materials available 24 hours a day, seven days a week during the Cohort schedule provided in Frontline.  You will receive a link to access the Cohort course(s) once the registration process has been completed.  However, you are expected to complete the 1-hour course within the Cohort timeline indicated when you registered for the desired course(s) in Frontline.

L.I. PREP Highlights:

  • Webpages: All courses have their own webpage that are designed to showcase course curricula, objectives and various resources that are required for the course.
  • Provides over 40 1-hour courses that focus on the topics of: Social and Emotional Learning, Mental Wellness, and Resistance to Substance Abuse to a support educators with hands-on, strategy-based interventions to support learning outcomes for all students.
  • If you choose a bundle selection for your course, is it slightly discounted!  Please note the bundles course selections cannot be changed, they are curated to compliment each other.
