Community School Resources Program

Supporting Whole-Child Wellness Through Strategic Community Partnerships

Eastern Suffolk BOCES offers a comprehensive Community School Resources CoSer (CoSer 535) designed to expand district capacity in addressing student mental health, wellness, and overall well-being.

Through this CoSer, districts partner with leading healthcare and community organizations to provide coordinated, multi-tiered supports for students, families, and staff, including both in-district consultation and access to specialized clinical services when appropriate.

How the Community School Resources CoSer Works

Participation in CoSer 535 provides districts with:

  • A coordinated partnership model connecting schools with trusted healthcare providers
  • Access to multiple service tiers, including consultative, preventative, and responsive supports
  • BOCES coordination and oversight, including contracts, scheduling, and program management
