Long Island Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (LI-RBERN)
The L.I. RBERN network provides technical assistance and professional development, as well as individualized on-site program consultation services to all L.I. schools and districts regarding the education of English Language Learners. L.I. RBERN services are provided at no charge to school districts.
Long Island ESSA Title III Consortium
The L.I. RBERN ESSA Title III Consortium is comprised of eligible school districts in both Nassau and Suffolk County. The focus of this federally funded Consortium is to enhance the education of English Language Learners (ELLs) through the integration of instructional technology into English as a New Language (ENL) programs. ENL teachers in member districts receive comprehensive professional learning opportunities that reinforce language and content area instruction through culturally responsive and sustaining educational practices.
SPARK 21st Century Community Learning Center
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program is a federal funding source dedicated to supporting afterschool and local summer learning programs relating to core educational services, enrichment and support activities, and family engagement.
