Communications and Research
The Office of Communications offers an array of internal services in the area of print media, public relations, and website maintenance. Charged with setting communications policy recommendations, establishing procedures, and maintaining guidelines, the office ensures a uniform look and feel among all media related items and outreach efforts. Members of this award-winning department belong to both the New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) and the Long Island School Public Relations Association (LISPRA).
Internal public relations services are designed to promote the achievements of ESBOCES students and staff, respond to media inquiries, and publicize the achievements of the agency. The Office of Communications also serves school districts through the Communications Consulting/Public Relations Services.
Print media services include graphic design, layout, and formatting of all agency marketing and print media materials. ESBOCES also offers high-quality printing services through its Printing and Duplication Program.
The Office of Research carries out a program of regional education and school district finance research for the agency, component school districts, Long Island industry partners, and other stakeholders. Serving as a regional resource, the unit helps constituents achieve their goals through sound programmatic recommendations, thorough analysis, and effective communication of findings. The office provides data support to the region, producing numerous presentations, fiscal analyses, and data reports addressing the costs and outcomes of Long Island's public schools.
