LI Academy Shines at SkillsUSA Regionals

The Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology was proudly represented at this year’s SkillsUSA Regional Competition, held across multiple locations including Suffolk County Community College’s Brentwood campus, Western Suffolk BOCES’ Wilson Tech campus in Dix Hills, and Republic Airport.

Competing against top students from across Long Island, SkillsUSA participants representing 23 of our component school districts demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and determination in a series of rigorous, hands-on challenges. Their efforts paid off in an impressive way, with LI Academy students earning a total of 49 medals.

This remarkable achievement reflects not only their technical expertise, but also the dedication, discipline, and pride they bring to their respective trades and programs.
