Eastern Suffolk BOCES Students Shine at SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference
16 students from various ESBOCES' CTE Programs traveled to Albany for the SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference.
Eastern Suffolk BOCES proudly sent 16 student officers to the annual SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference in Albany, where they joined over 400 student leaders from across New York State. During the conference, students showcased their leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
A key highlight of the event was a tour of the iconic New York State Capitol building, where students gained firsthand insight into the workings of state government. Additionally, they participated in developing impactful community service initiatives designed to benefit their local chapter.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity for these young leaders to network, exchange ideas, and strengthen their abilities to lead and serve within their communities.
