Food Preparation Program
Cooking is fun and that’s why Akua enjoys the Introduction to Food Prep class. She also interns each week at Buttermilk’s Kitchen in Patchogue, an opportunity that provides her with authentic industry experience. Next year, she’ll take the advanced Food Prep class, which will teach her to work more independently, providing her with many of the skills she needs to seek employment in the restaurant industry.
