Veteran's Day
Brookhaven Learning Center honored Veterans Day with a special school-wide ceremony. The celebration began with a beautiful performance of the national anthem by Jenna Kaplan and Isabella Long. BLC was proud to welcome veterans who are family members of students and surprised them with heartfelt thank-you cards.
In addition, the entire school created cards that will be delivered to Veterans of Foreign Wars organizations across Long Island, Brooklyn, Nassau, and Suffolk counties as a token of their gratitude.
