Transition Services Program (TSP) Student of the Month

The Transition Services Program (TSP) at Brookhaven Learning Center holds a "Student of the Month" program each month which recognizes and celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding performances within each of the five internal work simulated classes they belong to. These classes include Horticulture, Academics, Culinary, Retail and Technology.

All students attend the big celebration together and have opportunities to cheer each other on and congratulate the recipients. Classroom teachers announce student of the month, explains why they received the award this month and distributes a certificate to the selected student. This monthly activity motivates students and encourages a culture of recognition and community spirit within the school.
