Pen Pal Project

Throughout the school year, students from WHBLC @ East Moriches Middle School and TSP @ BLC paired up for a Pen Pal Project activity with the support of classroom teacher, Travis Zaugg and speech teachers, Stephanie Hannigan and Laura Donovan. On May 16, 2025 the students met their pen pals for a meet and greet pizza party at BLC. The Pen Pal project allowed students to grow their language skills, writing skills, as well as computer-based skills. Students decorated picture frames and shared stories with their new friends.
