Instrument Petting Zoo

Stony Brook University music students came to BLC to provide students with a hands-on workshop in which students had the opportunity to listen, touch, and play musical instruments from around the world. This program helps to inspire an appreciation of music and instruments for our students. Music helps to improve skills in the areas such as communication, social skills, sensory issues, behavior, and cognition. Best of all, the students had fun!
