Women's History Event
Students at BLC @ Samoset participated in a variety of activities in honor of women's history month! To name a few, students listened to music from Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish and voted on their favorite song, added flowers to a frame displaying Frida Kahlo's portrait, and honored Sheryl Swoopes by way of an adapted basketball activity. At each station, students were supported by the Sequoya pals and were provided with history pertaining to these honorable women.
