Happy Lunar New Year!
Student's at BLC @ Samoset gathered together to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the year of the dragon! The students created musical instruments during their Library class where they learned about the culture and traditions associated with the holiday. They then came together to cheer on our senior students who participated in a Lunar New Year parade where they displayed a dancing dragon which is known to symbolize "power" in the culture.
