Fun-Filled Thrills at the Carnival Extravaganza!

BLC @ Samoset students enjoyed their annual end of the year carnival filled with a variety of activities. This event provided students with a multisensory experience while also providing switch activation opportunities to meet our students needs and to encourage participation. The carnival ran smoothly with the help of building staff, related service and the Sequoya pals! Activities included a "Lucky Duck" carnival game where students matched colored ducks in a pool filled with water. Students also created sand art, hand painting and took photos at the photo booth. Additionally, the event included two switch activated stations; a switch activated bubble machine and a switch activated balloon blower! While students made their way through the carnival, they received refreshments from a cotton candy station, snow cone station and chip concession stand. Student's even left with a carnival prize! The event was a huge success, especially with the help of the Sequoya pals who continue to be a fantastic addition to our school events.
