Stone Soup Activity at Bellport Academic Center

Students at BAC listened to the story of Stone Soup and then made their own stone soup, by writing something they contribute to BAC on a paper shaped like a stone. Students identified traits like, kindness, respect, being supportive, having a sense of humor, and so many other ways they all contribute and make BAC a better place. 

Later, the stones were placed into a giant painted pot (courtesy of our art teacher, Mrs. Cariello) and hung in the atrium to show that just like in the story, Stone Soup, we all make a difference and bring things to the table that help improve our overall mental health and well being.
