Celebrating Black History Month at BAC
February was an exceptionally vibrant month, filled with engaging Black History Month activities such as bulletin board decorating contests, scavenger hunts, gym challenges, and bingo. The highlight of our celebrations was the Black History Luncheon held on Friday, February 27, 2026. During this event, students immersed themselves in African American history, culture, and culinary traditions. We were also honored to welcome the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Community Engagement (OMACE), who joined us to discuss the diverse opportunities available within Suffolk County. This month-long celebration provided our students with a profound understanding and a lasting appreciation of African American heritage.
