Bob Ross Joy of Painting Event at BAC

At BAC, the art teacher, Gina Cariello wanted to spotlight an American Painter who is widely recognized for his painting style, calm manner and public television show. Most of the students know who the famous painter Bob Ross was from PBS, so she decided to have a fun-filled event to learn how to paint like Bob Ross. Ms. Cariello also not only decided to teach how to paint like the master, but she wanted to look like Bob Ross too! The students were shocked when they came to class and saw that their teacher had transformed into Bob Ross! The students had a great time painting his famous happy trees and mountains. Throughout the event, Ms. Cariello made sure to include quotes that he used on his show such as “Creativity," "Embrace the joy of painting," "Let your creativity flow" and "Happiness." It's so important to do something every day that will make you happy". The students had an amazing time painting, learning, and expressing their creativity!
