BAC Vanderbilt Museum Field Trip

Students from BAC visited the Vanderbilt museum and planetarium on May 9th. The museum showcased thousands of marine specimens in his Hall of Fishes, one of the largest privately collected marine collections from the early 20th century, which opened in 1922. The mansion's galleries featured a habitat with many dioramas of wild animals and marine life, created by artisans from the American Museum of Natural History. 

At the Reichert Planetarium students were able to explore planets, moons, stars, deep space galaxies, and nebulas from across the universe. Students experienced this journey as truly awe-inspiring view of our planet from the distance reaches of space.
