3rd Annual Poetry Corner Event at BAC

In order to celebrate the end of our poetry unit and the beginning of National Poetry Month, Bellport Academic Center hosted their 3rd Annual Poetry Corner Event. Once again, we transformed our multi-purpose room into a coffeeshop-style lounge, which allowed students to relax and enjoy listening to their peers recite poetry. The walls were covered with student work and visual representations of their poetry. This year, over 50 ELA students showed off their poetic talents by reading their work, making it an amazing day for all!!
