Abstract Title Reader
Have you ever wondered about property ownership and rights? When someone buys a house, how will they know that their largest investment is secure? If real estate and puzzles intrigue you, come join us and learn a new profession. We will teach you all about real estate, property rights and interests and train you for a potential opportunity to work with title agencies, law firms, abstract companies and/or underwriters. This course will help you to understand property ownership through deed conveyances and how death, bankruptcy and divorce can impact title. You will learn about mortgages and judgments and foreclosure actions. What does it mean to have a “closing?” Why is title insurance needed and what makes it a time consuming process to buy and/or sell a home? All of these questions will be answered.
