    Since its inception in 1883, the Metropolitan Opera has been one of the world’s leading opera companies. Originally housed on Broadway at 39th Street, the Met moved to its current home at Lincoln Center in 1966.     Independent Federal Agency that awards grants to Arts organizations and artists.

    New York State Alliance for Arts Education
    The statewide arts education advocacy organization. Publishes the monthly online eNews with information and updates on statewide issues, policies, etc.

    New York State Council on The Arts
    NYS Council on the Arts disseminates over 2700 grants annually to arts organizations in every arts discipline throughout the state in its effort to bring high-quality artistic programs to the state. In Arts in Education, there are three levels of art residency programs available to schools and arts organizations
