School-Wide Behavior Management System

  • The Premm Learning Center attempts to tailor behavioral intervention to the specific needs of the individual student. Such interventions include:
    • the use of positive reinforcement and rewards
    • visual schedules
    • social stories
    • focus room visits
    • child study team/student staffing
    • establishment of a formalized behavior intervention plan and/or functional behavior analysis

In the event that a student is unable to respond to the above techniques, creating an unsafe situation, a separate location designed to maintain health and safety is provided. The goal is always to reengage the student in the instructional process as quickly as possibly.
