CTE Summer Career Exploration Program
The Career and Technical Education Programs of Eastern Suffolk BOCES
will be hosting a FREE Summer Career
Exploration Program at our campuses in Oakdale, Bellport and Riverhead.
This program will provide students with the opportunity to learn more
about a variety of exciting career options. Only students
entering grades 8-10 in the fall of 2010 are eligible to participate.
Students can choose from the following program offerings:
- Art & Design (BTC)
- Audio Production (WTAC)
- Canine Careers (BTC)
- Car Customizing (ICC)
- Carpentry (BTC, ICC)
- Child Care (ICC)
- Clinical Medical Assisting (MTC)

- Cosmetology (BTC, MTC, WTAC)
- Culinary Arts (BTC, MTC, WTAC)
- Digital Photography (MTC)
- Dramatic Arts (BTC)
- Electricity (BTC)
- Small Animal Careers (BTC)
- TV Production (BTC)

This two week program will begin on July 6 and will run
until July 15, Monday -Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Each participant
must provide his/her own transportation and snack. No classes
on Monday, July 5, 2010.

Registration must be in person. Enrollment will be determined
on a first-come, first
served basis. There is no cost to participate in the program.
