This service provides a certified or civil service itinerant person to function part-time in the school district. The maximum sharing per district for such itinerant service is 60 percent. Activities include normal school business official functions such as supervision of district staff in the areas of accounting, payroll, and purchasing, as well as performing other financial and/or business-related functions. Other areas might include operation and maintenance, food service, and transportation. Provided there is no person on staff to perform the function, the district will be included in the screening of applicants to be selected for the position. The cost would include the salary, benefits, and other expenses of the individual, pro-rated to the period of time contracted for by the district.
