The LIRSSC Reading First Research Resource Center provides research and technical assistance, professional development, and the latest scientific based reading materials to the professional staffs of all Nassau and Suffolk Counties' school districts participating in the Reading First Initiative. In addition, the library will house and make available to the professional staffs of participating districts the materials of the Math Initiative and the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Library.
