The Educational and Information Support Services (EISS) assessment division
provides component districts with a variety of assessment services. Our trained
staff has a comprehensive knowledge of state mandates and has carefully constructed
its services to meet the upcoming changes in the New York State assessments. The
service incorporates individual trainings on the constructs of the 3-8 and NYSAA
assessments, as well as providing regional and cluster scoring opportunities. Regional
scoring sessions are available at our ESBOCES Sherwood facility and provide a forum
for scoring and evaluations of the assessments. Cluster scoring, available to three
or more districts, provide a more individualized scoring opportunity at a designated
site.
