Islip Career Center - The Place To Be

Mission Statement

The mission of the Islip Career Center is to provide quality career education programs that will transition each student from secondary education to competitive employment.

Our goal is to provide a multifaceted educational experience for all students. The classroom is at the core of this experience, where students have an opportunity to acquire valuable career education skills. Students have the option of exploring a wide variety of career programs. Our extracurricular activities give all students a chance to become involved and develop leadership and social skills that will benefit them in the future. With an increasingly complex job market, students will need to be prepared in all aspects of career education. Our educational programs are designed to help students meet the professional, academic, and interpersonal skills necessary to realize their full potential.
