The Regional Information Center supports information and technology needs of school districts in Suffolk County. It is one of twelve (12) Regional Information Centers located throughout the State. Professional and cost-effective services include software training; installation, support, and maintenance for a variety of financial and student information systems; special education software support; test scoring; data warehouse and student data analysis; network design and management; Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) support; and microcomputer repair services. Our goal is to help districts use technology to make district management easier and more efficient.
Eastern Suffolk BOCES Computer Repair was established in 1983 to provide the most comprehensive and cost-effective PC hardware support possible to our component school districts.
This program provides PC support for many of the 'Tier 1' Original Equipment Manufacturers found in classrooms and offices today. We specialize in Apple, Dell, IBM, and Hewlett Packard warranties and repairs. Response time by factory trained, 'A+' annually certified technicians is within 24 hours and many repairs are done onsite. Upgrade solutions are also available.
Contractual pricing includes parts, labor, and preventive maintenance with 'loaner' equipment always available.
'Time & Materials' repairs are facilitated thru coupons purchased semi-annually. Our service authorizations with many of the vendors allow us to procure parts at discount prices and pass that savings on to our customers.
Twenty years of successfully serving the educational community exclusively has enabled us to understand the needs of our customers better than anyone, and we work closely with other Regional Information service providers to offer a complete support package to all of our component school districts.
