Special Education Space Requirement Plans
Every five years the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Special Education Space Planning Committee develops a five-year plan for broadening and improving upon the region's services for students classified in need of special education. The plans identify strategies that will enable classified students to have greater access to the general education curriculum and increased opportunities to be integrated with non-disabled peers. In addition, a yearly "Progress Report" is prepared by the committee and submitted to the State Education Department in the spring of each year. Both reports can be found in this section.
