The Facts

Districts that have successfully deployed videoconferencing technology eliminate numerous travel expenses, reduce the need for time out of the office or classroom, and allow staff to interact with experts in real-time!

Research has shown that videoconferencing increases students' enthusiasm for learning. In addition, videoconferencing activities can provide interactive, inquiry-based learning activities that directly align with New York State standards, state assessments, and district curriculum.

Videoconferencing is a tool that a classroom teacher may use to:

  • Ask an expert
  • Visit an aquarium in Alaska
  • Discuss robotics with a NASA engineer
  • Collaborate with a classroom in England on a lesson or unit of study

Think of us when you need:
  • On-site, customized professional development
  • On-site videoconferencing development
  • Challenger e-Mission training (a favorite among students for math and science)
  • Videoconferencing resources
  • Videoconference bridging capabilities
